Your Role

221 Regional Marketing teams play a meaningful role when it comes to establishing deep connections with the markets and communities we operate in today. As an online Marketplace marketer you are an expert at building online brands and using influencers, PPC, Analytics and PR companies to get the brand in the marketplace and drive sales engagement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of regional priorities (business targets, P&L priorities, segmentation, priority markets) to be thought partners with regional Ops/Policy.
  • Based on 221’s global marketing strategy, adapt, localize, and/or amplify initiatives to align with regional strategy, taking into account local specifics and culture.
  • Identify uniquely local marketing opportunities aligned with business priorities (major events, partnerships, seasonal moments, etc) and deliver campaigns or activations against them.
  • Comfortable with a hands-on environment that involves supporting end to end campaign execution
  • Own regional content creation across key touch points.
  • Ensure alignment of regional activities with global brand strategy.
  • Manage and coordinate localization of relevant content in partnership with global localization teams, as well as crafting individual market/ regional-specific content for critical markets in partnership with global partners.

About You

We’re looking for a data driven individual who possesses a curious mind and is keen to get in on the ground floor of a growing business. You’re comfortable working at pace and in a greenfield environment. To ensure your success in the role we do have a few key requirements so read on and see if any of these align with your skills and experience:

  • Fluent in English
  • 5+ years of generalist marketing experience, preferably in a fast-paced oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or similar, and a demonstrated ability in quantitative fields.
  • Established B2B marketing experience, preferably with a SaaS background.
  • High level proficiency in martech tools such as CRM, Marketing Automation and Web Analytics.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing with a particular focus on channel utilization for qualified lead generation.
  • Experience in planning, negotiating and booking media, particularly in B2B channels.
  • Excellent work ethic and communication skills.
  • Have a ‘high bar’ for attention to detail and organization, so ‘nothing slips through the cracks’.
  • Effective and efficient budget management.
  • Structured problem solver with project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to bring to life the 221 brand in a way that is both consistent with our global brand positioning but also meaningful to local culture and customs.
  • A strong customer-centric approach – you are always thinking about how our customers interact with the brand.
  • The ability to take the initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and a willingness to adopt a generalist approach.
  • You are experienced in utilizing CRM to your advantage and managing a sales organization by tracking activity, communications and effectiveness through monitoring performance
